Fried Mozzarella
One of the staples in the state of Wisconsin, fried cheese! However, it can be extremely hard to find a restaurant that have these, let alone a dedicated gluten free fryer to cook them.
For those located in the Milwaukee area, I recommend 42 Ale House in St. Francis. They have a dedicated fryer and their cheese curds are phenomenal!
For those that do not live in the area, or would like to take a crack at these mouth watering cubes, here is your chance...
Ingredients
1 block of mozzarella cheese (or a small bag of cheese curds, mmmmm)
1/4 cup Gluten Free Flour mix
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 large egg
Salt

*Letting the cheese chill prior to frying will ensure that no cheese leaks out into the oil.
